In her farewell statement, Ambassador Anderson expressed her gratitude to President Bio for the trust placed in her to serve as an ambassador once again after a six-year tenure as the ambassador to the Republic of Ghana. She highlighted her experiences in Ghana, where she liaised with over 17 missions and successfully promoted Sierra Leone, particularly in the area of โโtrade. Ambassador Anderson remarked, “I believe going to Turkey will give me a bigger opportunity to promote the country and particularly your agenda for a better Sierra Leone,” before concluding her remarks.
In his response, President Bio congratulated Ambassador Anderson on her new appointment and extended his best wishes for her upcoming mission. He reinforced the importance of the Republic of Turkey as a strategic partner to Sierra Leone and encouraged Ambassador Anderson to explore available opportunities that would benefit the country.
“My doors are always open; “You can count on my support,” President Bio affirmed.
