Rodney Kofi Anderson Concludes Internship Programme, Appreciates The Leadership of The Embassy

Chancery Building, Ankara, Friday 13th December 2024 – Mr. Rodney Kofi Anderson, a final year Law Student at the Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada; has completed an internship programme at the Sierra Leone Embassy in Ankara, Turkiye, and has appreciated the leadership of the Embassy.

Internship Programmes provide students with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in their field of study. This practical exposure allows interns to apply theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom to real-world situations, enhancing their understanding and retention of information.

Making a statement at the end of the internship programme, the Deputy Head of Mission, Ambassador Paul A.S Minah thanked Mr. Rodney Kofi Anderson for being the first individual student to undergo an internship programme at the Embassy, saying that it would go down in history, at the same time pave way for others to follow his example. “On behalf of the Ambassador and the entire staff members, I wish well in your academic pursuit”, he concluded.

On his path, Mr. Rodney Kofi Anderson noted with gratitude that he appreciated the opportunity given to him to complete his internship service, saying that everyone he met during his stay were cooperative and displayed professionalism at the workplace. “I have learned a lot about teamwork and diplomacy, I will not take this opportunity lightly. Thank you all for your cooperation”, he concluded.
